Review bookings that came in from your channels

Where: Channel Manager → Live Booking in ClearHost
You need: Channel Manager on the property's plan.

#Steps

  1. 1

Select the property you want to work on in the top bar.

  2. 2

Open "Channel Manager → Live Booking". This is the feed of reservations that arrived through your connected channels, read straight from the channel manager rather than from ClearHost’s own records.

  3. 3

Read a row left to right: "Customer Name / Unique ID" is the guest and the channel’s own reference, "Booking Dates" is arrival to departure, "Status", OTA is the site it came from, "Rooms Count", "Total Price", and "Actions" at the end.

  4. 4

Status is one of New, "Modified" or "Cancelled". A Modified row carries a small question-mark icon — hover it to see what the booking’s status is now.

  5. 5

The search box at the top left filters the list as you type. Refresh beside it re-pulls the feed, which is what to reach for when a guest insists they have booked and you cannot see it.

  6. 6

The toolbar also carries "Export", which downloads every booking matching your current filters rather than just this page, and "New Booking", which takes a reservation straight onto your connected channels from here.

  7. 7

A row’s "Actions" menu offers "Cancel Booking". It asks you to confirm, because the cancellation is pushed to the channel manager and every connected OTA, and the rooms go back on sale.

  8. 8

"Advanced Search" opens a panel with three date ranges — "Arrival Dates", "Departure Dates" and "Booking Dates" — each taking a "Start Date" and an "End Date", plus "Search by OTA" and "Status" dropdowns. Reset clears the lot.

  9. 9

"View Details" at the end of a row opens the booking. Info is the reservation itself, Revisions lists every version the channel has sent, and Timeline puts those in order. Print at the bottom produces a copy.

  10. 10

On the "Revisions" tab, "Resend latest version" asks the channel manager for any versions it has not passed on yet — use it when a guest says they changed something and the row still shows the old stay.

  11. 11

If the table says "No bookings found matching your search criteria.", clear the search box and reset the advanced filters before concluding that nothing has come in.

#Good to know

This screen reads the bookings live from the channel manager rather than from ClearHost’s own records, so the rows themselves cannot be edited here — but the toolbar does act: Export, New Booking and the per-row Cancel all work from this page. A property that is not connected to the channel manager shows an error rather than an empty list. To change an existing stay, use PMS → Reservations, which holds ClearHost’s own booking records.
