Change your property’s name, contact details or address
In ClearHost: Property → Details.
Where: Property → Details in ClearHost
You need: permission to edit property details on this property.
#Steps
- 1
Select the property you want to work on in the top bar.
- 2
Open "Property → Details".
- 3
The form is three cards. Basic Property Information holds Property Name* and Property Type*. Contact Information holds Phone Number, Company Email and Website. Location Information holds Address, City, Postal Code, State/Region, Country, Latitude and Longitude.
- 4
Country wants a two-letter code rather than a country name — IN for India, US for the United States. The box stops accepting characters after two and saves whatever you type in capitals.
- 5
Fill in both "Latitude" and "Longitude" and a map appears under the fields so you can check the pin before you save. Leave either one empty and no map is drawn.
- 6
Click "Save Changes" at the bottom right. It stays greyed out until something on the form actually differs from what is stored, so if it will not click, nothing has changed yet.
- 7
Clearing a box does not always clear the stored value. Emptying Phone Number, Address, City, Postal Code, State/Region, Latitude or Longitude wipes it; emptying Company Email, Website or Country leaves the old value in place. To change one of those three, type the new value over the old rather than deleting it.
#Good to know
The property this saves against is the one picked in the top bar, not the one you last opened elsewhere. Staff can read this screen but cannot save it — the Save Changes click is refused by the server, not by the form.
