Where: Booking Engine → Coupon Usage in ClearHost
You need: Booking Engine on the property's plan.
#Steps
- 1
Select the property you want to work on in the top bar.
- 2
Open "Booking Engine → Coupon Usage". Every booking that has had a code applied to it is listed here, across all your codes.
- 3
Read a row left to right: "Customer Name/Unique ID" is the guest and the booking reference, "Coupon Used" is the code with the date it was applied, "Source/Room Type" says where the booking came from and what they booked, "Checkin Details" is the arrival date and the number of nights, and "Amount Paid" is spelled out as the price before the discount, the discount taken off, and what was left to pay.
- 4
Narrow it down with the two dropdowns at the top. Source: Any restricts the list to bookings from your own booking page, from a channel, or taken directly. Status: All separates confirmed, checked-in and cancelled bookings. The search box beside them matches a coupon code, a coupon name, a guest name or a booking reference.
- 5
Click a row, or choose "View Details" from its three-dot menu, to open the booking with the code and the discount it earned shown alongside it.
- 6
If the table says "No usage logs found", no booking has been made with a code at this property yet — or your filters have excluded them all, so clear the search box and both dropdowns before concluding that.
- 7
For the totals on one particular code, go to "Booking Engine → Coupons" instead, open the code and read its "Details" tab: "Total Bookings", "Total Discount Given", "Revenue Generated" and "Last Used" are all there. The Bookings tab in the same panel lists the individual reservations that used that one code. Open in ClearHost ↗
#Good to know
This screen only reads, so it needs no particular permission — anyone who can reach the property can open it. The money shown is before tax: ClearHost stores a booking amount with the discount already taken off and the taxes recorded separately, so these figures will not match a tax-inclusive total elsewhere. The list arrives most recently used first, so the newest redemptions are always on page one. The Delete Coupon item in a row menu here does nothing yet and only shows a Coming soon message; delete a coupon from Booking Engine → Coupons.
