Publish your booking engine so the live link works

You need: Booking Engine on the property's plan, and permission to edit channels on this property.

Select the property you want to work on in the top bar.

Open "Booking Engine → Live Link".

Work down the sections and fill in what guests will see — Content, "Gallery" and "Branding" are the three that matter before a first publish. Do not look for a save button on each one: there is a single action bar at the bottom of the screen that saves all of them together. Until you use it the Booking Engine Link card reads Inactive.

Click "Publish Live Link" at the bottom right — it reads "Publish Changes" once you have published before. One click saves every section you have edited and then makes the page live, and if any section fails to save nothing is published at all, so you never end up half live. The card flips to Live and the Live URL, Copy and Open appear on it.

Click "Preview" beside it to open the page in a new tab and look at it before you hand the link out. Preview only works after the first publish — before that it just tells you to publish first. It shows you what is already saved, not edits you have typed and not yet published, so publish first and preview second if you want to see your latest wording.

To take the page down again, use "Unpublish" on the card itself. Nothing you have set up is lost — the address simply stops working and Copy and Open disappear until you publish again, and the same address comes back when you do. The address is created on the very first publish and never changes after that.

#Good to know

Publish Changes is greyed out when the page is already live and you have not changed anything, because there is nothing left to publish. Preview is not a read-only action: it saves a draft on the server before opening the tab, so it needs the same owner-or-admin access that publishing does. A manager or staff account will be refused on all three of publish, preview and unpublish, but can still open the screen and copy an address that is already live.
