Choose which properties a member can work on
In ClearHost: Profile → Members.
Where: Profile → Members in ClearHost
You need: permission to edit members in the organisation.
#Steps
- 1
Open "Members" from your profile menu. The Properties column already tells you how many properties each person can currently reach.
- 2
Open the three-dot menu at the end of that person’s row and choose "Change access to properties".
- 3
"Manage Property Access" lists every property in the organisation under "Select properties", with the ones they already have ticked.
- 4
Tick to add, untick to take away, then click Save. Unticking is a real removal — that person loses the property the moment you save.
- 5
The entry is missing for the owner, for admins and for your own row. Owners and admins reach every property in the organisation automatically, and nobody can change their own access.
#Good to know
A property you add starts the person on the plain defaults for their role there; a property they already had keeps whatever was tuned for it. This decides which properties somebody can open, not what they may do once inside — for that, use Permissions on the property’s own members screen. That screen is the same job seen from the other end: it asks who may work on one property, where this modal asks which properties one person may work on.
