Review your guest analytics
In ClearHost: Analytics → Guest.
Where: Analytics → Guest in ClearHost
You need: Analytics on the property's plan, and permission to view reports on this property.
#Steps
- 1
Select the property you want to work on in the top bar.
- 2
Open "Analytics → Guest". The page is headed Guest Insights and covers a fixed window — the last 30 days ending today. There is no date control on it, so every figure below is that same period.
- 3
The top row is "Total Guests", "Repeat Rate" and "Avg Spend/Guest"; the row under it adds "Avg Length of Stay", "New vs Returning" and "Cancellation Rate". Repeat Rate is the share of guests in the window who had stayed with you before, so it is a property-level loyalty figure, not a per-booking one.
- 4
The "New vs Returning" card, and the Revenue Split card further down the page, answer the same question two ways — one by headcount, one by money — and they will not match. A small returning group often carries a much larger share of revenue, and that gap is the point of showing both.
- 5
"Repeat rate trend" plots that share month by month so you can see whether loyalty is moving. Below it, Top Countries, Top guest types and Repeat Guest Channels rank where your guests come from, what segment they fall in, and which channel brings the returning ones back.
- 6
The Guests table at the foot of the page is the guest-by-guest list — "Customer Name/Unique ID", phone, last stay, tags, total stays, "Total Spent" and status. Search it, filter it by source, sort it, and use Export at its right to open Export Guests and take the rows away as a file. That export is built in your browser from what is on screen; it changes nothing.
#Good to know
This is the reporting view of your guests. To open, edit or merge an individual guest record, use the guests screen under PMS instead — nothing on this page is editable. Staff-role members can see Guest in the sidebar but cannot load it, because it needs report access that the staff role does not include by default. If that is you, Analytics → Overview needs no report access and carries three of the same guest cards further down its page — Repeat rate trend, Visit frequency and Stay Duration — so the loyalty and length-of-stay questions can still be answered there.
