Find your ADR and RevPAR

In ClearHost: Analytics → Overview.

Where: Analytics → Overview in ClearHost
You need: Analytics on the property's plan.

#Steps

  1. 1

Select the property you want to work on in the top bar.

  2. 2

Open "Analytics → Overview". The four tiles across the top are Total Revenue, ADR, RevPAR and Occupancy, so both numbers you want sit side by side in the second and third position.

  3. 3

Both tiles cover the current calendar month so far. ADR is room revenue divided by the number of settled or in-house bookings whose stay touches this month — bookings, not room nights — so a long stay pulls it up rather than averaging out across its nights. RevPAR is that same room revenue divided by the number of rooms in the property, so it is a month-to-date figure per room, not a per-night one. Compare them month to month rather than against a rate card.

  4. 4

The small percentage under each tile reads vs last month, but it is measured against the equal-length window ending the day before this month began — on the 5th that is the previous five days, not the whole of last month. Early in a month it moves a lot.

  5. 5

For the direction of travel, open "Analytics → Revenue". The page is headed Revenue Analytics and about halfway down carries three sparkline cards — ADR Trend, RevPAR Trend and Occupancy Trend — labelled 14 days ago on the left and Today on the right. Open in ClearHost ↗

  6. 6

On those cards the big number is the latest single day, while the percentage pill beside it compares the whole 14-day window with the 14 days before it. A green pill with a low headline number simply means the fortnight beat the one before it, not that today was strong.

  7. 7

For the underlying figures day by day, scroll to "Daily Breakdown" at the foot of the same page — it has an ADR and a "RevPAR" column per date, and you can narrow it by source or export it.

#Good to know

ADR and RevPAR appear on the main dashboard revenue tiles too, computed from exactly the same month-to-date basis, so those will agree with the Overview tiles. There is no screen anywhere in ClearHost that lets you set your own date range for ADR or RevPAR — the Overview tiles are month-to-date and the Revenue trend cards are a fixed 14 days.
