Add more rooms to a room type

Where: Property → Rooms and Rates in ClearHost
You need: Channel Manager on the property's plan, and permission to edit rooms on this property.

#Steps

   Select the property you want to work on in the top bar.

   Open "Property → Rooms and Rates".

   Find the room type on the list — the line under its name reads "Room Count" and shows what it holds today.

   Open the three-dot menu on that row and choose "Edit Details".

   Scroll down to "Number of Rooms" and press the plus button, or type the figure straight into the box. The caption under it reads Total Inventory, so enter the new total for the room type, not the number of rooms you are adding.

   Click "Save Changes", then confirm with "Apply Changes".

#Good to know

This raises the room type’s inventory cap, which is what your channels are told you have. The individual numbered rooms are a separate thing — you create those under PMS → Room Management, and it will not let you create more rooms of a type than this figure allows. So raise the count here first, then go and add the room numbers there.
