Modify a reservation

Where: PMS → Reservations in ClearHost
You need: PMS on the property's plan, and permission to edit bookings on this property.

#Steps

   Select the property you want to work on in the top bar.

   Open "PMS → Reservations".

   Find the booking in the list — search by guest name or booking number.

   Open the actions menu at the end of that row and choose "Modify Booking".

   In the drawer, change what needs changing: "Stay Dates" for new arrival or departure dates, "Room & Rate Type" to move the guest, or the guest counts.

   Once a guest has checked in, their arrival date can no longer be changed — the arrival has already happened, and ClearHost refuses the save rather than rewriting history. The departure date, the room and the guest counts can all still be changed.

   Pick a "Modification Reason" so the change is explained in the booking history, then click "Save Changes".

#Good to know

The drawer shows the price difference before you save, so you can tell the guest what the change costs.
