Raise a support ticket with ClearHost

In ClearHost: Support → My Tickets.

Where: Support → My Tickets in ClearHost
You need: no special access; any team member can do this.

#Steps

  1. 1

Open "Support → Help Center" and click "Create a ticket", or "Support → My Tickets" and click "Create ticket". Either way you land on Create a support ticket.

  2. 2

The form has three steps shown across the top: Issue, "Details" and "Review".

  3. 3

On Issue, pick the card that fits: "Bookings & Calendar", "Payments & Payouts", "Channel Manager", "PMS & Housekeeping", "Booking Engine & Website" or "Account & Billing". This decides who picks the ticket up, so choose the area rather than the symptom.

  4. 4

Then answer "How urgent is it?" — Low for a question, High when something is broken and holding up the day, "Critical" when guests or payments are affected right now. It sets how fast the first reply is promised. Click Continue.

  5. 5

On "Details", "Which property?" defaults to the property in the top bar; switch it, or choose "Not property-specific" if the problem is not about one hotel.

  6. 6

Write a "Subject" of up to 120 characters. As you type it, ClearHost offers matching help articles underneath — worth a glance, since the answer is often already there.

  7. 7

"Describe the issue" needs at least 20 characters, and the more concrete the better: what happened, what you expected, when it started, and any booking references or error messages. Attachments underneath is optional — screenshots help.

  8. 8

Click "Review". The summary shows Category, Urgency, the property, Expected first response, Subject and Description. Back returns you to fix anything.

  9. 9

Click "Submit ticket". Ticket created confirms with your ticket number; View my ticket opens it and Create another starts a fresh one.

#Good to know

A ticket belongs to the person who raised it — your colleagues will not see it on their own list, so raise your own rather than asking someone else to. Every reply is emailed to you as well as posted on the ticket. Anyone in the organisation can raise one, whatever their role and whichever properties they can reach.
